Not heard of security tags, but certainly the old styluses came colour coded - though I did think that this was just the SP1/2. They had a number of different types including one to use with 78s. I have put my reference manual somewhere so I am afraid I can't tell you what blue is though!!

It is the curved screen. 480p I believe. It is an excellent set and quite sought after. The manuals are on site.

I would get the SMMC4. Excellent value and I doubt you would notice any difference. I base this however on my comparison of MMC cartridges rather than Soundsmith ones.

Are you sure? That is the US Avant - TV - TV only and a totally different model to the Avant seen in the EU. Wonderful set of connections though!!

By the way, the ones for sale look like V1s, not OA 2212s. The latter are supposed to be superb. V1s are not!!

I have a suspicion that the speakers you mean are not B&O but are actually Sonab enclosures . These were floor mounting omni directional speakers and could be had in white! There is a teak pair on eBay though these are only one of the types available. Would be sold by many dealers who also sold B&O.

Bliss: It's brother, the Acoustical 3100 sometimes shows up (more often than this one!) and sells for lots of money. Is it really that good? Not in the same league as the Thorens one but well extended bass. It is just an Acoustical 3100 with a B&O arm.

Not on my mono MBA!! However on my stereo, the answer is yes.
