Gingerly I peeled off the bubble-wrap and slowly looked around this lovely record player. Heyup, no pieces missing! Where the heck had this piece of white plastic come from? I spent ages scratching my head and holding the piece of plastic up against various points on all four components. It was a perfect match both colour-wise and in thickness. Shaking

One by one I carried each of the four components into the lounge and carefuly cut away the bubble-wrap. Beocord 7000 first. Looked all round it for a missing piece of white plastic. It's fine.
