Obviously there will be a BeoLab 6 and a BeoLab 8, let's hope these ones come with a rising ALT.. . Imagine also that such a technology could revive speakers like BeoLab 6000 and BeoLab 8000, with the present design unchanged when not in use, and the ALT rising on top of the speaker (with the proper tilt/inclination) could provide an improved sound

To me BeoSound 5 was a big mistake even before it was released.. I use my BeoPort everyday for NMUSIC and NRADIO, and I really don't know why I should spend 10 times more money in BeoSound 5, because to me it does 10 times less than a BeoPort box: - no CD playback - no PHOTO option - no album or title search by simply typing the name on the keyboard

A lot of people have complained about the weird looks of BV9 with the ALT coming out of the flat front shape, a motorized ALT tweeter with horizontal movement would have been a more subtle alternative to the present design, for instance. And as long as form & function are concerned, the horizontal tweeters pick up dust very easily, and hiding them

B&O have always been famous for their mechanical movements on all products: sliding doors on BeoSounds, turning stands on BeoVisions, but..nothing moves on a BeoLab! All Advanced Sounds Systems provide an ALT tweeter rising from the car's dashboard, don't you thing it is time B&O releases new BeoLabs with a hidden ALT that would rise

Timer programming with B&O audio masters was very easy 20 years ago...why? Because remote controls had 2-way communication Bring back 2-way remotes, this should make everybody happy!
-
I have to agree with Kokomo, all BeoSounds and BeoVisions have a built-in timer and can display the time, so what's the point?Having a separate display for the clock? But the clock doesn't even show during the night, you have to move the flute..! And the remote control features are so looong to activate, you'll need to press at least 4 times
-
Easiest solution: get a BeoPort & connect the Lab 2 to the BeoPort Powerlink output, then each BeoLab 4 to BeoLab 2!

Hi, B&O was manufacturing the RIAA pre-amps for the BeoMasters , not the BeoGrams themselves, however they might be able to get you a RIAA preamp for a BeoGram 4500 that you can retrofit in your BG9500, as this was the only diffrence between both models.

I must say I like the design, finally, after the latest releases I was wondering which product I would buy after my Serenata, here is the one. Form and function finally come back, the speaker & microphone on one side seem logical to me, as you can finally press the keys when listening to the message in your voicemail for instance, something impossible
