  • Re: We all share the same passion!

Old school B&O that's what I got. Plenty of pictures in my photobucket account uploaded. Most reason ones are taken of my white edition Beomaster 6000, Beogram 6006 and Beovox S120 which my dad has borrowed. The pair of Beovox S45-2 are taking a break for now. They sound good but need a suitable Beomaster. The link for my photobucket account

  • Re: What's playing RIGHT NOW?

Beocord 9000 plays my recording of Master of Puppets with Dolby C on a TDK MA-XG 60 tape. Sounds very close to the actual record!

  • Re: LX5500 niggle - A good clean!

My LX55000 still runs great. It says 1989 on the back but colours and everything works/sounds great. Back in 2006 it arrived with a dead Beolink 1000 mk 3 and a L2800 floorstand which was great as the Beovision going out was an L2800 and I did not have a original stand for it. The antenna plug broke so the local shop had to change it and update the

  • Re: Problems with Beomaster8000 - low output, and goes into clipping immediately

Yeah very nice to see it in one place. My white edition 6000 system and rosewood 8000 system are placed in the same room but one in each end. The 6000 consist of BG6006, BC6000 and BM6000 on original white SC60 stand with the 2 pairs of white Beovox S80.2 and S120 in front. Not ideal speaker placement but it works great. The 8000 consist of BG8002,

  • Beocord 5000 4705 or 4715?

I was wondering what would the better Beocord, 4705 with 3 heads or the 4715 with 2 heads. It's not a question about how troublesome they are but if there is any advance to buy any of them as I have an option for buying either one.

  • Re: What camera do you use?

I got 2 camera's at the moment. One is an old Minolta X300S which I got a NOS flash and I belive stock original lense. I bought back in the summer 2000 in London as an impulse. The pictures are good but I have always had a non original flash problem so not perfect when doing indoor shots. I haven't really been using it since I got the NOS flash

  • Re: Christmas came early this year; just been given a Beomaster 6000 (1980'ies model)

Just came back from a holiday. A Beomaster 6000 like yours are the same size as the Beocord 6000-8000-9000 basically. The Beogram 6000-8000 is nearly the same. When you get to Beomaster 8000 you will be in trouble if you don't have the original type of stand. The Beomaster 6000 stand is 105cm and the Beomaster 8000 is 120cm in lenght. As you are

  • Re: What makes B&O better?

Better? Well most B&O has it all in one packet. You are either into HIFI or B&O. Why chose a Beolab 8000 system from 1981? To me it looks great and one of a kind compared to everything else. Jacob Jensen desings are most likely like that. It makes you feel good and if you treat it well you can have it for a few decades still being happy. The
