I agree. Panasonic comes in april with new Plasmapanels with a contrastratio 30.000:1. Much better blacks then the current models, so that is worth the wait until B&O uses them. Next year the 10 lumen technology maybe appears. So the value of products is much shorter. Hightime for B&O to lower the prices enormously :-)

moxxey: Bingo: Does that mean when there comes a bigger one that the smaller sizes will become cheaper? In my opinion they must :-) I think this is a tricky dilemma for B&O. I agree the TV prices are too expensive, but are they going to do an Apple and announce the BV7-40 MKIII in October, then reduce it by £2K, only 6 months later? Bit like

Does a new Beovision 4 also mean a new price ??

There are lot of good moderators here, exept for one ! There's a dutch moderator who does not seem to know what it is to be a forum moderator. He simply makes his own rules and when something does not suite him, he rules like an arrogant King over the forum. I am glad, he is the only one here :-)

Can you make a picture of it ?

moxxey: Bingo: Now they think they found out the wheel again with a camera on the new Beovision4 . I saw a $7,500 dollar price mentioned for the 50 inch new Beovison 4 without speaker but if this includes the Beosystem 3 which was always part of the Beovision 4, there must be a dramaticly price-reduction on its'w way. http://www.i4u.com/article13929

The televisions are the trouble with their value in my opinion. You cannot be believable and be taken serieous when you charge 16000 euro for a 50 plasma with a Panasonic screen nowadays. I dissagree with that. In the time of the LX2800, a top A brand television costed around 1500 euro and the LX about 1800 euro Now a A brand 50 inch TOP plasma cost around 2500 euro (full HD Panasonic) i expect even a lower price this year. And B&O charges at least around 13000 euro more for a 50 inch plasma. 4 HDMI inputs will become the standard

I never understood why B&O kept it's prices so unrealistic high when they moved a lot of the production to an eastern-europe country. Ik was expecting a huge price-fall. I am sure if they don't lower the prices of their plasma and LCD televisions that it will be over very soon.
