  • Re: speaker recommendations for 80ies beomater 5000

The S45-2 speakers are a good match and don't suffer from foam rot. They are bit more "wife-friendly" than some of the bigger uniphase speakers, Simon

  • Re: Found a local Beogram 7000....

Hello and welcome to Beoworld. I encourage you all to search for his "Later with Jools" and "Hootnanny" appearances on Youtube I bought his "Dog House Music"

Medogsfat: Thanks for your usual excellent advice Mika, I'll bear it all in mind if it does start to annoy me. At the moment though I'm too busy drooling over my newly refurbished Beovox MS150's to worry about a little spot of off colour on my TV Chris. You should have mentioned you were refurbishing some MS150's, we had no idea! If

  • Re: MC120.2's compared to S80.2's and others

Medogsfat: Jandyt: However, if Chris's Missus banishes his 150s, I would make room for them! Andy T. No prob's Andy - just show me the money Chris. And I could help Andy to create space by moving the S120s for him.... Simon

  • Re: What to do now???

It depends partly on what the fault with the HD is. If it won't boot that doesn't mean that the whole HD has gone. You could try downloading one of the Linux distributions that runs from CD to see if the Hd is still readable. Simon

  • Re: My new B&0 music system

timhanna: Hi Dave, Im not sure I agree with you on that, the 3200 is definately a classic in my eyes, I see the hard drive as an extra, but the main purpose is a CD player, and its a great one. If you assume that the HD will be used as that, a supplement to an already wonderful system, then you can't go wrong. Nice choice of stands (I have got the
