Condition is everything. I recently sold a very good one for £150 to a customer in Finland. Transport is the problem, they must be VERY well packed to survive in the courier system. I have one with broken glass and one with the complete top missing, both poor condition. I use them as temp stands for anything as they are not really saleable.

See the end of this thread and the post by member Mdyarnell who seems to have solved this problem http://forum.beoworld.org/forums/t/33136.aspx?PageIndex=2

[quote user="jc"] As I already replied earlier in this thead, they sound very different to me when played with Beovoxes (and so using the amps). Looking at the specifications at this site or at B&o's site there is a remarkable difference in frequency, so perhaps that's the difference I heard. So I doubt we are speaking of the same

They essentially use the same design of amplifier and sound the same to me! The CD in the 9500 can be fixed.
-
If there is no red light on your speakers then they are either faulty or not connected to the mains!
-
By far,the differences in sound are down to the speakers used. Notice that I did not say sound quality! Having listened to most types of B&O CD players I can honestly say that I cannot notice much difference, with the exception of the CD50, which does sound warmer and more analogue. I have not heard the CDX series so cannot comment. Beware that
