If you are willing to part with $7,500, then just do it - not just for the improved picture, but perhaps above all the improved sound. The BeoSystem 3 is so good I had to part with my BeoLab 4000 - and replace them with BeoLab 3's - as surround speakers. You may have a dead lock - I would recommend you to bring it to your dealer for a hard reset, that should solve your issue. If not, your dealer can do a read-out of the error code(s) and check them against the service manual. Roger

And they do need a replacement for the BeoLab 7.4 - it works very well with the BeoVision 7-series (visually), but a single BeoLab 7.4 mounted on a wall is not a pretty sight IMHO. Too bad that the hydraulic assist will not be ready at this point in time... Roger

I belive the new "BeoVision 9"-frame for the BeoVision 4-series is confirmed (frame showed correctly above) now, but the speaker is not. But those that saw it in Berlin will have a smile on their face... Roger

Facing the BeoVision 5, on the right hand side just above the stand socket on the motorized floor stand, you will find 3 cut-outs in the cabinet: Locate the socket on the stand, then just above it (bottom edge of the BV5) find the 3 cut-outs in the MDF-frame. The cable is tucked away and can be located/retrived using your fingers. Roger

To me, the BL6000 will always be a rear speaker. You may hook it up with the BL2, but there is still very little mid-range available. The 8000 is the smallest of the column speakers that will fit my job description - and they work quite well with the BL2.
