The thought of those hotel versions of Beo4 springs to mind. You know, with most of the buttons blanked off. Perhaps a return of Beolink 1000, robust,simple and cheap. Andy T.

What a fantastic set up! Peter Pan is a member on here but unfortunately speaks little English. I know he is a great lover of ICE power and it's nice to see it incorporated in this set up. rayfenwick: Peter: The 4500 is very beautiful - especially when wall mounted. The sources are broadly similar though the casstte and CD are more highly specified in the 6500. The 4500 can be two way though it depends on the software fitted. If you are using Beolab speakers then the amplifier differences are minor. It sounds as though you want the 4500
