I agree - a true bargain! The only problem with wall mounting these items is that the sticky tape holding the glass panels on has a tendency to disintegrate and the panels are no longer available if they break. You also need a long wall!

You need either speaker link or Powerlink to use the displays.

I think it depends on the Beolink PC2 - mine is now the same as a Beoport - but it is a newer one so I am happy to defer to your greater knowledge.

The difference is just software - you can make a Beolink PC2 the same as a Beoport if you want. On the emails, click on your name where it appears in the top right hand corner - it will say Signed in as OKF Clicking on your name gives you a control panel. Click on the Email tab and you can change the option to receiving emails - you will switch it off

You have put the DIN leads into the correct sockets? I mean Right and Left? The sockets on the 9000 can take them the wrong way. I suspect the cables !

In your case, the best way will be using Speakerlink cables as these will allow the displays to work. However you can just use two pin DIN speaker leads if you want. These go from the speaker output of the 5500 to the Speakerlink sockets on the Penta.
