I have a similar issue with my mk1's the displays only work on cd but even then it displays the volume as '00' Any ideas??

I may get shot down in flames here! If your are fixing your speakers where they get a bit of dust and a little dampness, you could consider a beolab 2000 link speaker I have thought about fitting one in my garden under the cover of a veranda. They are reasonable and quite a neat sounding unit and can be taken inside for the winter period if need be

I have a pair of mk1 penta's! So you guys are lucky, I got my cables off Steve at sounds heavenly. His cables are excellent, and so is his service. If someone deserves your business then Steve does! Cheers Nick P.s. I doubt he will hand deliver!!
