The 5-pin adaptor is the correct one, but do make certain that you are using the 7-pin socket, not one of the 2 8-pin sockets. The A. Aux button on the 9000 will call up the correct input, and you may add 'A, Aux' to the Beo4's 'List' as well. Russ

Even on a Sunday it is 'tres impossible' as the Finns would say: http://arstechnica.com/news.ars/post/20080720-new-telescopic-pixel-displays-could-outperform-lcd-plasma.html B&O may as well pack it in. Even the mighty, if flawed, OLED juggernaut will surely fall under the withering fire of constant new technological development. Thank whatever

http://www.gizmag.com/fed-flat-panel-display-technology-sony/9635/ How do they expect to survive if they don't produce one of these by the Holiday season this year? Let the Doomsaying begin. Russ

Never mind.... Apparently I accidently hid the button at some point.

I broke down, and am now struggling to configure a Beo5, using the latest 1.3 software. So far, so good. But I have hit a bit of a snag. I have imported an Apple logo to represent my AppleTV. I shows up in the 'edit' window, and when pressed there it reveals the underlying screen as expected. However, in the 'view' window it is utterly

Well, despite the fact that the supply of new magalogs is a bit tight over here in the colonies, you can get one if you ask (you may be asked to fill out an address card while one is fetched; but given your interest in the products that wouldn't be a hurdle really). Not availing you of a price list is rather strange, and I agree a bit off-putting

You almost certainly need a phono pre-amp. Turntables generally operate at a much lower level than other AV gear. I found a great deal for a client at PhonoPreamps.com. Take a look at the second item down on the right side, it did the trick nicely. Russ

Aux connections. This will also allow you to operate the iPod from the Beo4, and see video on screen. You'll need an ir-flasher of course. Or you could just

I have seen one running on a Da-Lite grey screen, in a room which had no curtains or blinds in the middle of the afternoon, being driven by a BV-7 40/US. I agree with the OP; really beautiful! The BV-7 has complete control or the projector and screen as well. Highly recommended for those on a 'budget.' Russ

Hi Dave, I'm coming late to this party, but I have to get my 2p in. Over a long period of exposure to B&O's speakers, I had, in my mind, divided them into 2 families as far as over-all sound. This discussion only involves speakers available before the BeoLab 5. Let's not be silly. Personally, I have always preferred a 'cleaner, crisper'
