I would like to hear what the 6000 quad lacks compared to BM 4000 and BM 4400. Does is sound worse? How many on this forum has a working one? How does it compare to BM6000 and BM8000 amplifier wise? Any other pro's and con's?

Yes Yes and Yes. The Beovox MS150 got state of the art in reviews and every Beovox exept the X series are worth rebuilding if you have too. I had recently 2 pairs of Beovox S speakers done and now they can laste another 20 odd years. They sound great!
