Yes, I also hoped that they were getting back on the right way. To buy a centerspeaker seperatly, I can live with. And to be honest, the price of the new Beovision 4 would be much more realistic. Four HDMI inputs becomes standard this year by a lot of manufacturers on their premium models, so in that case the Beosystem 3 does not offer anything special
-
No, I don't. In europe the Beovision 4 is always including the Beosystem 3 so I thought that is also the case in the USA. And to be honest, it is misleading to call a plain plasmapanel a Beovision in my opinion.
-
jk1002: You also have sales taxes included in europe which you donot have in US. I don't follow you. Also in the USA a Beovision was always a complete device, wasn't it?
-
How strange. A Beovision has always been a complete television, wasn't it so? So why are they now using the name of a complete television (Beovision) and mention the price of only the display ? You cannot recieve anything with that !!! In my opinion not very honest.
-
I really don't understand. In this American article the new Beovision 4-50 will cost $7.500 ( = €5.040 ) http://www.i4u.com/article13929.html Here in this German article the new Beovision 4-50 will cost €15.595 http://www.digital-world.de/index.cfm?pid=8&pk=1258146 Both articles mention the Beolab 10 seperatly ( read not included)

Flappo The Grate: i'll never say bno tv's are expensive again after taking a look at sony's new 70 inch lcd the 52 inch is a very good value £2.500 but the 70 " is a mind blowing £25,000 !!! ten times the price for another 18 inches - oh crikey plus it looks utterly awful compared to the stunning and £10k less bv9

Finally, they're getting wise in Struer.
-
HD-DVD? Who wants HD-DVD??
-
Philips comes with a 350 dollar blu-ray player BDP7200 , so B&O can also put a box around it and charge 1500 euro for the same device :-) It does not have to cost Struer much to build one that way.. http://www.highdefdigest.com/news/show/CES_2008/Philips/CES:_Philips_Intros_$349_Blu-ray_Player/1338
-
Because a Blu-ray player can also play DVD discs and HD-DVD has lost the battle, there is no reason for B&O anymore to wait :-)
