Have a look on the back of the speakers, do the say S45 or S45-2? If they are S45-2 you are in luck as it means they have rubber surrounds to the woofers and do not suffer from foam rot.Well worth plugging the in for a listen as you might be pleasantly surprised! You can also connect a CD player if you wish. Simon

Bv7Mk3: I have a Bv-7 40Mk3 and I can see the difference between SD and HD even between broadcasts.Football,Wildlife,Films and deff on Blue-ray ps3. Hello and welcome to Beoworld! The S45-2s are perfect match for the Beomaster 1900 (they sound excellent with mine). You will probably need to replace the capacitors in the crossovers but they do not suffer from foam rot. A Beogram 1902 or 1700 would be a good match,as would the Beocord 1900. Dealers have got rooms full of these things as part of the B&O trade in scheme. They have already cost the dealer at least £250 as their contribution to the £500 part ex offer

ed7: i used to look forward to go and see my local dealer (like a child in a toy store) wanted to buy every thing in his shop and more ,new catalog when released that will be another special visit to go and collect it as soon as possible,loved the products and prices of course was more expensive than every-day make and model but hey was worth the money
