My DVD player died of olde age recently, and I thought would be a good time to look more closely at both Blue-Ray and HD players. I could play our DVDs' through the PC, but decided not to. I saw 4 different BR demonstrations, and the Blue and Red chromas were bright. Very detailed. Two sales reps kept turning the volume up ( " Incredible, isn't

Hello Keith ! My Beoport 4.65v update install came about by first reading about it in BEOWORLD. I would not have been aware of the 4.65v upgrade without being advised by one of our members in that topic thread. The actual installation was quick, smooth, and flawless, over the previous version. Beophile; Regarding your suggestion points: 1. Using PC-2 and a Beo4 remote, I am able to select the n. music, cd, dvd, tv, n.radio or radio in each linked room. This is accomplished by using the playlist feature, and my memory of where certain artists or tracks are. 2. Again, I selected the lossless option ( suggested previously by another Beoworld

Reading your post on the new Beoport 4.65 Version, I simply went to the B&O page and downloaded the upgrade. It took over from there, removing and installing everything. I did adjust the CD volume Nr up to 10,000 as mentioned. Total time with the download, and reboot was 3.7 minutes. My only problem was entering my user name & password as I
