Hi I've bought a pair of the above (on the recomendation of Beocentral - "Pocket money Masterpieces" ) I want to replace the capacitiors in the crossover but can't see how to get the frets off - they seem well and truly stuck. The speakers are in great cosmetic condition and I don't want to damage them. Any ideas ? Cheers Nigel

What an absolutely fantastic superb thread Andy. Your use of plain English and good photos is an example to us all. As a fan of older B&O, threads like these are what makes this site special (and easily worth the £30 for gold membership - never mind the monthly draw !) for me. The thrill of rescuing and refurbishing an item like these speakers

Note to a Moderator - it's not clear when you're looking for a Beomaster 7000/6500/5500 full user manual that you need to look under Beosystem - would it be possible to put a re-direct note on the Beomaster listing ?
