as a main computer you should get a macbook pro , almost as slim as the air and also has a very nice video card , arguably the only real limitation of the air is it's weedy graphics capability , apart from the lack of a dvd drive of course.. ok , you can load movies onto the air and watch them , but that 80 gb disk will sure fill up quick with ripped

reminds me of our wonderful labour government who after ten years of growth and now faced with the very real risk of a recession are blaming america ( how convenient ) rather than their own incompetence and over spending what amuses me is that some people seem to think gordon brown is so smart he's the guy who made the all time classic/stupid quote

9 LEE: Flappo The Grate: bno have more to lose than most brands , certainly in the av world how on earth are they going to become competitive when everyone else's prices go down and there's go up ?? ? i'd hate to be in their shoes right now !! I don't think B&O need to be competitive with mainstream brands Flappo, i think they have

that's brilliant news a niche that IS worth chasing , forget the ipod clones and the mobiles go for the car audio market !!! i recall nakamichi ( shows how old i am ) were once the ultimate in all that , now they're more or less finished , bno have a real chance to dominate the market i'd love a bno radio/cd in my merc !

they've got nobody but themselves to blame , i'm afraid too much concentrating on the next ott design and not enough on the basic features that everyone takes for granted also , bno used to be cutting edge in that they would adopt new technology much more rapidly i recall their stance on cd etc was pretty radical in the 80's - very early

i'd like to see bno adopt the iphone as their new remote use the amazing sdk 2.0 to write a stunning piece of software

i think a new ipod , for £500 and with just enough space for about 4 songs and make it hard to use , no display of course and make the buttons all nonsensical and weird oh and don't forget to make the software awful and crash prone too :)

to be fair to bno , it's not really their fault they can't keep up as technology is moving SO quickly they build products for the long term , but everythings disposable these days - even tv screens ! lcd's the big noise now ( with led backlighting coming asap ) , but in a few years it'll be oled , then laser tv , then gawd knows what

i'd wait and see what the bv7 mk4 is like , i wouldn't buy a loewe as imo they're not very good tv's i had one and lets just say it was a disaster in every sense of the word plus they're just cheap copies of bno i'd rather have a bravia than a loewe as at least they're not slavishly aping another manufacturer as loewe do
