My Avant sounded great without any speakers attached, however when I added 6000's the bass disappeared. I swapped my 6000's for 8000's and then later added the 2, tho I never had the opportunity to listen to the Avant-6000-2 combo.

The 6000's are a disappointing speaker and far too similar in style to cheaper available speakers.
