First check the connections on the processor and display boards, the interconnecting plugs, connectors, the plugs surface coating and their respective solder joints. If you need to rewire something, the choice of wire will not be very critical. Good soldering skills and ESD handling more so. Martin

What's wrong with the original woofers ? Generally it's very difficult, if not impossible, to find modern drivers with matching specs. Furthermore, it will have to work together with the passive radiator in that fairly small cabinet, making it even more difficult to match. There are no less than three different versions of Beovox 3000 (and that is not counting the 1980's version). This midrange must be from a Type 6210, a Peerless G 50 MRC. Unique to that version. Martin

You need to carefully lift out the uppermost lips of the hinge plastic parts out from their grooves, away from the metal lid (towards you), just two millimeters or so and lift the lid straight upwards at the same time. An ultra-thin watchmakers screwdriver is good for this. Like this: Martin
