Don't go crazy - these are not that uncommon and this one is worthy considerably less because of the legs (or lack of them!) Given away better stuff than this!

I used mine with Pentas and a BL2. I had plenty of bass - it is the presence band that seems absent. Very detailed sound so it is clearly a matter of taste - I would have a good listen first. At the demo of the BV10 it sounded fine.

Just seen these - I would recommend picking them up - I had a pair which were great - very similar to S45s in sound - and these ones are white!

Have had both - have sold the BV10 as it was too expensive in retrospect. I couldn't live with the sound after having an Avant. I exchanged it for a BV5 - the picture on the BV10 was better - by quite a margin on HD sources - and much the same on SD. The sound on the BV5 is a lot better.

As usual, super attention to detail. And as you say, not bad for 43 years. Shows how well they were made. I doubt many amplifiers of other makes of this age are still working.
