Nothing as cool as a BL5000, but I was very pleased that when I put seven Energizer 357 watch batteries in my new Beomaster Control Module, it worked perfectly.

Hhhmmm...Evan can afford a trip to Denmark, but not a turntable. Curious. But seriously, congrats to the winners. I hope this becomes an annual event. I think that by this time next summer, the Fabric Selector would be in for a trip as long as we stopped first in her ancestral home (that would be the Cork area of Ireland for those keeping score at home

I've started putting a system together in the guest bedroom. I took the BM2400 out in the garage that was perfect electronically and gave it a facelift with a dead unit that was almost perfect cosmetically. I also promoted the Beovox S40s that were in the garage to "in house status." The S40s got some Old English cleanup and new brown

So I've got two MMC4's installed - one I use a few to several hours a week and the other I make myself use one LP a week. I have a third MMC4 sitting in a safe (air conditioned) place as a spare. Soundsmith in NE US retips (just about anything I think) as well as sells new products. I have a new Soundsmith and like it very much. (I believe the cost for retipping is given on the web site.) Modular Electronics in Atlanta, Georgia area retips MMCx to MMC4 specs as long as the only thing wrong with the cartridge is a worn stylus or broken cantilever
'Heard a lot of good things about Modular Electronics in Roswell, GA. Benny Amina is the owner, and gets mentioned here on the forum occasionally.
Seconded.

Beautiful speakers - would love to fall into a pair one day and push the M70s into a bedroom.

One of the reasons why I "live post" my threads a single thought at a time with a single photograph per post.
Stopped by my local used record store this afternoon and raided the 80's nu wave section. I really think the Idlewild LP by Everything but the Girl may be a masterpiece. Really good stuff.
Since the immortal Lunch Wagon (yes I sat through it) in 1981, I cannot see a picture of Dale Bozzio without hearing
