On which PCB are you measuring actually? There are two F2's in BeoCenter 9500, one on the PCB which is behind the transformer and one which is on the PCB which is mounted on the heatsink. Which one have you checked?
-
What voltage do you get on the fuse when the BeoCenter is switched on?
-
@Leslie, I have already replied on that one a while ago:
Check the voltage of the back-up battery on the microprocessorboard.
No reply on that one yet!
-
Just to add something to the topic. I just recapped a BeoLink 7000, and still no 2-way. After that I checked the the back-up cell which is placed on the microprocessorboard and it had a lower voltage that it should be. After replacing the back-up cell it is working again! So is is not always just the capacitors which are only causing the problems.
Do those record players ever turn up?
If I see the above picture it has happened once......

Check fuse F2 (T1A) on PCB60 (rear PCB, coordinate F1). This might be broken.
-
Do you hear a relay click when you try to open the doors?
-
I don't know if you have the equipment and the schematics, but I think you should try measuring. It might be the microprocessor.
-
That was also my first guess in my BeoCenter 9500. But replacing it with a good processor did not help, resoldering did the trick. I would start with resoldering and see if that works. If not, you will have to start looking further in the Beocenter.
