Just fixed mine reading this thread and others regarding the CD50. Never even bothered with looking at the service manual. I have inserted at least 20 burned cd's and it hasnt missed once. Everything switches into motion or non motion as it should now. Not bad for a 26 year old "mono" switching laser. Thanks. The forums worked again

This lot. Both arrived in wrecked condition. In the case of the S50's I bought a pair of stands and the speakers were thrown in. The surrounds were shot. Upon testing the drivers seemed to be OK. So I ordered a pair of rubber replacement surrounds from Good Hifi and voila I have a pair of "very nice" sounding S50's with stands all

I think my renewal is stuck in the shopping cart. Poor Lee is gonna be stuck eating hot dogs cut into Kraft Dinner until the problem gets fixed.
