Why? To replace all three units in each speaker will be far more than the speakers are worth. It would be cheaper to buy another set and if you are attached to the cabinets, swap the units. I would take the opportunity to upgrade. B&O passive speakers are cheap and some are true bargains! The S55 is a nice speaker but the S80 and S120 are a fair

Press something on the MCP whilst taking a picture of the transceiver - it should have a pink glow - the MCP will emit a similar ir signal as will any other remote. Digital cameras can see IR.

It should work as I have had a similar system in the past. Check the wiring to the transceiver - it may be a loose connection. If not, check the transceiver to make sure it is sending signal - use a digital camera to pick up the IR signal of the transceiver.

The speakers should not be a problem to fix - what is the issue? The Beomaster is not one for the faint hearted - I imagine that you are having problems with volume control or similar. The problem with getting another one is that they all are starting to have similar faults. You have just the same system that I had for years - I still have the 4004
