Does mk3 work with all speakers
... exept BLb5s (switching to digital in if source is CD) and older speaker types like Pentas (display). By the way, the new fully mounted, 5.5mm double screened type is much cheaper than the pevious 3,5mm Mk2 (now beeing discontinued) and the Mk3 version !
The power switch is on but the BS 9000 does not turn on nor is there a power indication light on the speaker led. Is there an internal fuse that I can replace?
Please give us more details about the components you're using in your system BeoSound 9000 - that's clear but: Bang & Olufsen TV connected

Never tried, but in theory, this adapter could help ... (don't know if the pinout is "translated" correctly) http://www.amazon.de/Adapter-Klinke-Stereo-Buchse-profitec%C2%AE/dp/B000NIYLN6/ref=pd_sim_ce_3

HD-ready-kit type 4371 can be used for BV6-26 Mk 1+2 and should still be available. (a friend of mine had his 6-26 upgraded a few month ago and the kit had to be ordered)
This is so frustrating, why make a great tv with great resoulution specs, but no way to attain them?
BV6-26 has been introduced 2nd half of 2004! 2004 only PC graphics delivered real HD pictures, a DVI-I input for PC use was the right choice those days! Connect your computer via DVI<>DVI od DVI<>VGA

Press "TV" or "DTV/SAT" and see if the screen for entering the PIN is displayed, if yes, key in PIN if not, switch TV to stby and UNPLUG power for approx 5 min, before reconnecting to the mains again.
Just try the Camcorder input. It senses probably video on the DVI connector when not on the videocomposite (camcorder-video). Quote from the manual: PC INPUT DVI-D connector/audio L-R in 0,2-2V RMS >= 10Kohms
... if TV is HD-Ready! Also the Y-Pb-Pr component (3x RCA/phono) are not active before HD ready
-
I suppose I own the most expensive computer screen in history.
... seen a BeoVision 4-65" being used as a PC monitor there is still some "room for improvement"
-
If so, a HDMI-DVI cable will do the job.
... if you prefer silent films
-
What did the HD upgrade kit bring to the early versions of the BV6? did that give it a hdmi port or is it just a circuit board?
HD upgrade kit brought - among other internal changes - HDCP for DVI and component inputs (Y-Pb-Pr = 3xphono) - but no HDMIs
Unfortunately I don't
