Hi: Please do not think that I am being facetious by asking this question, it is simply because I do not understand the concept. I have an Avant in my front room. I think I made the right choice when considering buying a new TV - I was going to buy a Pioneer plasma for about £1500 but was advised (I feel correctly) that a B&O CRT would out

Hi: There is/was also a product called the Slingbox. The Gadget Show reviewed it a couple of years back. It is meant exactly for your purpose. However, over longer distances. I gather it is some kind of modem device - it plugs in paralel to your cable/sky box and net connection and you then access your cable/sky channels from your PC/mac with the bundled

Hi: MAybe this would be far too easy to be possible but if it is the DVD mech and the DVD mech is the same as a Philips one, could you not buy a complete Philips system for hardly anything off Ebay or some place else, take it apart, take the mech out and put it in your b&o. Alternatively get a DVD repair man to do this - obviously B&O won't

I think Audi used to have a contract with Bose - there is a Bose system in my friends TT from a few years back, perhaps they have just swaped one decent manufacturer for another.

Hi: This is a kind of related question but not really. I do not really want to start a new one as it is not relevant to the forum as a whole. At present I want to create a budget but decent media centre in my flat. I have my PC attached to my Avant for watching movies and want to get a large HD rack for the storage of movies perhaps using the program

Hi: I am only replying with this response as nobody else has written anything yet. These video players are cheap enough to buy on ebay at the moment - you may even be able to buy an old TV and Video (pre avant) for the cost in both pecuniary and pain in the *** terms that will result from trying to get this repaired. Thanks Graham

Hi: What does it mena when you say that this is a two way communication remote (my words, not yours) could you break that down for me. Also was the Beolink 7000 designed to work my TV and stereo or would I have to do some kind of bodge/hack to get it to work. Also if I got one from a Danish seller would I have probs with language on keymaps etc or are

Hi: To be honest, the only real reasons that I want it are to turn on my radio and TV. I know that it eats batteries and I know that it will not be used to its full potential with my current (or future) setup. However, the fact that it looks so good and moves up and down, looking like it does more than it actually does is my main reason for getting

I don't care - it looks good thats the only reason I want it (oh yeah and to turn the TV over). How much? Does it come with the charger and does it have to be wall mounted as I live in a rented flat (when I say have to will it look stupid if it does not) Thanks Graham

Hi: I would quite like one of these, I have just done a quick search on Ebay and there are none in the UK but a few in Denmark (no surprise there really). Are these really rare/expensive and will it control my Avant/Overture. Thanks Graham
