Would go for a Beolab 2000. Robust, Cheap and excellent for everyday use. But in case there is big kitchen space, I think it would make sense to use the Beolab 3500 as it is more elegant and can be placed everywhere in the wall giving a very nice decor as well.

Hi Eugene, I totally agree with your comments and I also offered my Beogram CD5500. But I think it is not compatible with the Beomaster 5000 since the Data cable is with 5 pins in the CD50 and 7 pins in the CD5500. Am I wrong on this?

I would comment that of course 3200 is iconic and an all time classic. However, I find the BS4 extremely easy for everyday use and frankly spoken I would vote for that. Don't forget that it does have the A.MEM with SD card which is very useful to have all favorite songs in one place available all time.
