After feeling brave and deciding that I would recap the crossovers in my S80.2's (the first time I had attempted this type of job) I contacted Martin (Dillen) and my kit was promptly delivered. Today I tackled the job. I am person with the soldering skills of a ham fisted gorilla but must admit that I found it a doddle. Just a little bit of care

They are operational manuals. Peter, that would be fine. If nobody wants them they will go in the bin but If you think they can be of use I will send them to you. I think at least some of them are not on the site so far (BM3000) so perhaps that would be best. If you pm me an address you want them sent to, I will post them off. Richard

I am clearing out a draw that I have stacked with manuals for various B&O things that I have gathered over the years. Not sure where some of them came from actually! If anyone wants one of them, all I want is the postage covered so let me know via pm and they can be yours. If people want to make a donation to Beoworld that would be good too. Here

I could never understand why all tv's, not just B&O havent had radio tuners in them since the 60's. Its not like a tuner takes up much room and you have an amp, speakers and aerial already there. I suppose its just a way of making you buy another product. If there is a technical reason for not doing this could some one let me know as it

Hold down the right hand side of the front panel and press the left and it should go away. It might be the other way round but that should do it

You have a dirty mind!! Im picking up some Beolab 8000's tomorrow and want to take the bases off for ease of transporting them. Could some one tell me the size of the nut on the bottom so I can take the correct socket/spanner. Thanks

Out of interest, how much has it cost to send a TV via a courier. It cant be cheap.

That white Beosystem 8000 in the dutch catalogue is great, I would love to give one of them a home. But I dont think I had really noticed just how massive MS150's are!! I dont think they would fit in my bedroom unless I got rid of the bed. I will definately keep my eyes peeled for a BM8000 and maybe some white speakers though perhaps not ones that

I could live with that! I might stay with the 6000 for a while at least, but if an 8000 appears I might get tempted. The white 6000 set up is lovely, did the 8000 come in white?
