  • Re: Concealed wiring wallplates

Patrick, If you ever find these drop me a line. I do think B&O got them made years ago. One of the Syndey installers is probably your best bet. Forgot his name.... Radio parts sell the female din connector, so do bosscom. You can get a clipsal slimline or standard wall plate with a punchout that fits. Some electricians modify or supply unusual wall

  • Re: BV7 Slingbox Project

An update. The Slingbox works perfectly with FoxtelIQ (Pace +) and free to air. The problem is my FoxtelIQ (Pace+) in link rooms does not work. To describe: The Slingbox comes with a Scart Male/Female adapter that also has the Red, White and Yellow RCA cables attached. So simply you disconnect the Scart cable from the PACE box, put this scart adapter

  • Re: Voltage 220 - 230 - 240 Question

Keith Saunders: Well, Beoaus, as you can see everyone is in agreement with your electrician and the only people really concerned are light bulb manufacturers, not sure why because if the bulbs go more often there sales will go up for them. I thought as much... I hope others will find this thread useful. Cheers, Beoaus

  • Voltage 220 - 230 - 240 Question

B&O products have different regional voltages, we use 240v though equipment runs on 220v happily. My electrician told me it makes little difference. Is it as simple as that? Am I or others going to experience problems? 220v, 230v,240v. (50Hz) Some products are even switchable. Thanks, Beoaus

  • Re: Beolink Passive (again....)

Not sure what you are trying to do here. In a link room you need the passive connnected to masterlink and the IR Eye. Otherwise you cannot turn the amp on or select a source and change volume. In the same room as your audio source you can connect powerlink without masterlink. The audio sources powerlink socket (or TV powerlink) are connected via fully

  • Re: Beolink Passive stability of amp

I have used 2 pairs of CX100's at mid volumes, it worked ok.

  • Re: BV7 Slingbox Project

Thanks... Ok I have the box connected to the RF cable and guess what? The Tuner picked up my RF link frequency. So the changing of the chanel via the Beo4 changed the channel on my PC. Got me thinking on that one... Reverted back to free to air for now and got the Slingbox working remotely. Very neat system I must say. I'll try the Foxtel box tomorrow

  • Re: Problems with Beo4

On the older ones which the LCD screen dulls and then disappears. It happens so infrequently that you forget what is happening. Beoaus

  • Re: US Beotalk 1200 in Australia

If you are still keen to give it a try I've used radio parts for some US voltage gear in Aus (non B&O as well). Here is a link for something suitable http://www.radioparts.com.au/ProdView.aspx?popup=1&Category=SX080706&Product=54153079 Beoaus.

  • Re: Using a combined Masterlink & Aerial Cable

Just check to make sure the cables are suitable to your setup. You could end up using lots of connectors and fair amounts of exposed, split cable and having a poor RF link signal. ML is a BUS system so that extra rooms can run off by simply using ML connector boxes and convienant junctions from the one cable. B&O like you to use a single RF cable
