I think if we look realistic at it, by the time they launch they would not get enough lifecycle time out of it. I think in general disks be it Blueray or DVD are on their way out. People seem to accept an electronic copy of their content why bother picking up a disk if technology moved on within a few years anyhow .... That they connect a "3rd

I think it might be just funky to operate. I.e. you have to hit "Go" twice so that it starts playing a DVD .... If you still have the manual ... they describe it in there ..... That is for the older MK1 .... later they changed it and a single "Go" did the trick. In fact during my first demo in the store I thought it was broken .

I thinkto combine North America and General is OK, however there are some peeps in germany, france, spain and other countries that do not speek english well enough. Cheers JK

I think we are still in a funny stage with LCDs TVs. Old ones playing standard content or DVD may be better then up to date ones playing the same. I run he BV8 32 which has a 720P panel with a BC2 and I have none of the picture issues discussed on this forum. Sometimes it seems the latest and greatest nips you into the butt ... JK

The Apple TV was a hobby for them but market adoption spiked so we should see a somewhat big update soon. They need to be in the living room with their itunes, otherwise other content provider will grab their share. Netflix is already grabbing a piece with their dirt cheap streaming service for the US. Will old equipment like BS9000 or even BC2 integrated into the BS5/Beomedia universe? I.e. 2 way control from the BC2? That would be consistent with what they have done in the past and I think many here expect that going forward to protect investment into our products.
