Beogram CDX is a wonderful sounding piece of kit, I have to say. Agree with Chris that the sound most likely has something to do with it only been 14 bit oversampling. Just about to recap one, when I get the time. Craig

Had the same problem with my BV3-32 when I had a Philips DVD recorder connected to it. It would turn itself on to the RF connection (TV). Or if you were watching another source it would also turn over. Never found out why this happened, but changed the DVD in the end. Craig

This ones not going to be a quick fix then. How easy is the motor to strip down? Done a few Beogram ones. Craig

Brought a CDX which was faulty. At first, if you put in a CD it would play the OK. Until you tried to go to another track. As you got further along the tracks. It would take longer for the selected track to play. Past track 7 or more, the disc would just spin but not play. Looking at the lense you could see a layer os dust on it. Cleaned the lense and

Guy, you will find that banana plugs fit perfectly. Had the same problem with my Beomaster 900. These would be perfect , the ones I used were a bit to big in the body part and touched together. Had to put a piece of cardbord between the to insulate them. Then you can just use a normal FM aeriel. Craig
