Martin has one and there is unit in the Struer museum. Only part of it has the wood veneer. In my view, definitely an oddity!
-
It is a Beomaster 610K - it is the first version of the Beomaster 900 - they do come up for sale quite regularly - I think they were only out for a year or so before being rebranded. Other oddities include the DAB version of the Beocenter 2500 and the 5000 stacking system with a wood finish.

The plastic part is not supposed to come out of the cap. The original SP1/2 allowed this but the later 6/7 has the stylus essentially fixed in the top of the cap. I think you need a new one!
-
Why not copy them on the computer and burn a CD-R

The suspension is a small rubber block that allows the stylus to move in relation to the coils. I wonder if the stylus has become loose and is no longer sitting properly at the bottom of the cap.

I have a suspicion that the server probably had a small out! Normally that resets the member score!

Sounds like the suspension is kaput. Axel seems to be able to sort these and has them on offer!

Has the plastic broken or could it be slid back? If the latter, maybe it can be gued back in place. If the former, why not ask Frede to see if he has the spare part.
-
You can - however there are two problems! 1. The tape lead has a 7 pin DIN plug - you will need to unscrew these pins so that the plug will fit the 5 pin DIN socket on the 1900. 2. You cannot record as the 1900 uses DIN standard and the 3500 uses LINE standard. You can play tapes though.

I cannot see the point really. The Beo6 is a far more powerful remote with proper back lighting and is much more the future of B&O, with the ability to support wireless and two way communication and with a rechargeable battery. And all of this for not much more than the Beo4 cinema. The Beo4 cinema was clearly a stop gap model made to keep the home
