Now, the instructions said to let the glue set until it's two thirds white and one third clear. This looks about right
-
It started last week while you were on your jollies. Seemed there was a thread where only Puncher and I were participating. Someone commented that it Puncher and Judy show and I should change my name to Judy. I can assure you that I will revert back to the jandyt you all know and love tomorrow.

Hi Doc. There are some members who have them in the wall, Ed(uard) in particular. Unfortunately, I think he's on his holidays but you might be able to send him a PM. However I don't think the two wire idea will work. When the light is off, it still needs current for it to be able to receive IR signals. I think mine looks great between the ceiling

Here I am applying the glue to the new foam surround, Notice I have kept slightly away from the edge to allow for squashage. (I made this word up but it sounds great so I'll keep using it)
-
And then very carefully, using a childs paint brush, applied the "special" glue to the cone
-
The next thing is to glue the new foam to the cones NOT the frames. First of all, as I don't want surplus glue all over the place and end up with a Mobe job, I drew a line all arround the cone just a little bit shy of the foam surrounds, This allows for a little bit of squashage. To get the line equal all the way round, I taped a pen to an upsidedown

You're obviously all stark raving bonkers!

Keith Saunders: I suggest you ask your father the following questions about the AVANT:- Did he have the problem you describe when he last used it ? If, he did have the problem, has he always had the problem, or did it just occur one day ? Ahh, the square dough-nut theory in action I see!
-
Hey Lee. Is it worth sending in seven correct answers or should I see if the other three come to me before Friday? PS, What time is your deadline in Big Ben time?
-
I'm really happy for you Daniel I think you have had the patience of Job in this affair.
