Hi: Yes I am using a scart adaptor too, however I do have one of those computer to TV adaptors for if you do not have a video out graphics card (like an idiot I forgot to check and went out and bought it anyway). Also, are you sure that the TV is able to switch between NTSC and Pal as it is quite old and therefore this may not work...

I don't know if I really follow very well however, I recently setup my Avant to work with the PC. Are you using a desktop or a laptop? If you are using a desktop and you have a video out port I would suggest connecting the monitor also so that you can change the settings etc and see if it makes any difference on the TV. Hi: I am looking to upgrade my Avant speaker system, but would like to do so piece meal. I have the avant with Dolby capabilities. Thus if I bought the b&o sub now and plugged it in to the back of the avant with no other speakers would it sound ridiculous - unbalanced etc?

Hi: I have a basic understanding of electronics and have built and stripped down PCs in the past. Thus if I bought a PinP module for my Avant would it be like installing say a PCI card or ram upgrade in a PC. Also I have heard I would need a special screwdriver - is this B&O specific or could I get it from a hardware store? Thanks Graham
