The other screw is accessible from the top: Remove this 3-pin connector harness. Directly underneath, you will see another screw. Release this one also by only 1/4 turn. Now, with reference to the clip at the right hand edge of the solenoid, adjust the solenoid body, until the clip just catches the edge of the solenoid. Tighten the 2 screws, connect

The solution is straightforward and consistent. Firstly, disconnect the AC power, and do not reconnect it, until you are completely finished this adjustment procedure. There are 2 screws which align the door release clip against the solenoid. To be accessible, the front tray must be closed, and the top cover should be off. Release the front screw slightly

Hi Rick, I can't help you with direct replacements for the drivers, and I really hope you can repair your existing woofers - refoaming is definitely the best option. However...., if you cannot repair your woofers, I can highly recommend a suitably-sized substitute from Monacor in Germany. I recently had to replace a pair of S55 woofers, and Monacor

"What B&O is in the background? There is a Beovision, a reciver and something to the left next to it." That looks very much like a Beomaster 901 with built in speakers, and while I've worked on a BM901, I've never seen one with built-in speakers.

You will notice that the vast majority of us on this forum own vintage B&O. The reason is simple - there is a vast difference in pure quality between the old stuff and the new stuff. I am very disappointed when I open up a new B&O piece, and discover the mediocre quality of components inside. Looks are NOT everything! AFAIAC, the new B&O

Derek I think you're a sick man. You definitely have the BeoVirus, and from what I've heard, it's incurable. But at least the sufferer appears to have no negative side effects! Enjoy it while you can.

At some point, B&O stopped including that voltage wheel on their products, preferring to make "market specific" products. However, they continued to make the transformers "universal" - hidden benefit to us techies, but also a smart production strategy - one transformer for the whole world. That means that by means of a few minutes

Anybody remember this one - this is my kind of budget - a 1970's Corgi 802 300SL Gullwing? I restored this one to collector condition. I'd wouldn't dream of guesstimating the value of a mint exmaple of the real thing. The SLS is obviously conscious of its lineage from the 300SL. BTW, who makes the in-dash control unit - FM/AM/CD amp - any

OK, Martin, Get excited! Oh, WOW, Oh WOW!!!!! For me, the best passive speakers I've ever heard are my restored S45's with rebuilt Audience crossovers - I covered that in a post long ago... I've taken those S45's to a local real HiFi dealer, and A-B'd them with nearly every highly-acclaimed big-name speaker around (large-bookshelf
