I don't see the problem... Embedded XP has matured to a secure and solid OS... Don't see what's wrong with it... (please don't get me started on OS-X or Linux) The main task of the OS will be to serve music and pictures.. so Embedded XP is more than capable to do just that.

Your dealer can order a steel shell replacement of your BS2. And you don't have to be engineer to replace it :-) I've done it with mine. Karel.

That's the caveat... The BS3 is the heart of your system! All connections, sound decoding and picture adjustments are done by the BS3...

Too heavy also!!!! And you might get addicted to B&O... Stay away from it as far as possible!
