yeah thinking about it i was attampting to check for slow responce times but all i got was denied which as you say indicates the firewall/server ignores ICMP. its annoying as the normal site is quick and fine but the forum is very slow to respond and sometimes does not respond.

Hello Has anyone else noticed when you go direct to http://forum.beoworld.org it seems to take ages to get there is there a routing issue somewhere? hi Peter yeah sorry i want to be able to control a seperate sky box connected in the bedroom just for freeview as i dont really bother with link room video. If not an MX with Sky conrtol in the range of other smaller TV's (second hand) will work with masterlink (AV V.MEM) and STB?

Hello All i have a BV7 in my main room and i woudl like to add a bedroom TV the link tv woudl need to have a STB controller that can control Sky (Normal) also be able to select AV V.Mem which i have my apple tv connected to just for audio. What TV supports AV V.Mem and STC control i looked and i see MX4000 go cheap now do these do what i need?

Just spoke to my local dealer i would not be able to access the DAB from a link room in a main room Shame as now i will have to buy a beosound with DAB

sorry what i meant was the DAB in the BC6 can it be accessed by other devices on the ML.

hi all if you have your main room system (TV) connected via ML to a beocenter 6 in the bedroom can you access the DAB on the TV in the main room is it also accessed via the radio button i have no audio device does BC6 have stb for sky digital ?

if i remember correctly my tv stopped responding to the beo4 with SKY whe i took the scart lead out but this was fixed in a SW update so that you did not need scart connected at the same time i believe you need to swithc off the tv and power it back on with the HDMI/DVI cable connected only so the TV can sence what is on and off. the older software

i am really interested in this as be excellent. i love my ipod touch and it woudl be great little add on to the system i have. i dont liek the beo5 i think its horrible to hold and looks odd. the beo4 is lovely still but looks as if they are not going to update it.

i have a 40" BV7 and its great for day to day viewing, a little small for my taste but i have a projector attached for movies. if the 40" was my only method of viewing it would have been sold and a bigger tv bought.
