Gerry Welcome to Beoworld! As Erik says you should consider the Soundsmith Cartridge, they are better than the originals and you would end up with a very nice setup. Simon

To get this thread back to the original question I shall ignore the technical specifics concerning TVs and simply observe that B&O haven't gone mad over prices for the simple reason that they need to sell at these prices for the business model to hold together. Lowering prices will pitch B&O into more direct competition with the volume manufacturers

Craig: When I first had my Beocenter 9000 it was connected to a pair of KEF C20's. They belonged to my Girlfriend at the time. When we split up I had to find another pair of speakers. Never found anything that sounded as good as those KEF's. Craig Tempted?
