My menu is different. I am running the 40-L01 panel though it does have the HD option. Its reasonable in medium light to have the brightness up 3 from its default setting. If your eyes are sharp you should notice a difference. My movie mode is set to AUTO and thats about it for my settings. Can you adjust the backlight, mine is simply on or off. No

As a test: If you watch the BV7 at night, start with all the lights on in the room at full brightness. If you have dimmers and lower the brightness of the room the BV7 can take a while to sort out its automatic process. I'd even say it gets it wrong. You can do the same test in total darkness... Beoaus. PS: There is a backlit option which can be

Looking for a link LCD. Its for a bedroom with the bed head 3.5mtrs away. My first non-B&O purchase. Anyone had experience with the Samsung or LG LCD Televisions. The units are 26 or 32 inch and need to handle the Beolink video (RF) signal at 599mhz. From what I have seen the RF signal from a Video master on a LCD looks like you need glasses rather

Great idea. Volume would be very hard to guess-estimate... I'd be in for 1 or two.. Beoaus.

I would not rush into this. As mentioned earlier actives and passives get hidden away for years and its hard to tell how they were connected. You really need to speak to someone that can detail the correct process. Best to ask the question in the French forum (or another), or get someone else to do it. Some of those guys are hardcore engineers. They

B&O have a technote on how to hook up multiple IR eye's. I've seen it done. It worked with an active or passive. Allowed you to add an IR eye next (and a long IR cable) to a exit or entrance door and was used to turn off systems. Similar system worked with an MCL kit as well. I have seen a passive servicing 2 sets of CX speakers in two rooms

Sorry to hear about the problem... Its worth noting that B&O maintain parts for 10 years from the date the product ceases production. In some cases more. Although $1200 is a large amount you can't pick a second hand unit up for anything close. The BV7's motorised stand is more that the tube on the Avant. Something about a tube going in a

If the placement of the IR lead does not make a difference try these. Reset the Pace box. A full Avant system reset. Off and powered off for 30mins. Changing the STB to another and saving the configuration. Then returning to the STB menu and selecting the Pace box again. If this happens regularly the STB Controller may need a software update. You could

Can you connect one of these to a BS9000 and control it via the remote? I thought Ridax made something that would assist. Can't find any detail on it though. Thanks Beoaus.

I feel pretty stupid replying to my own messages. I'll go ahead anyway. I found the problem with the Slingbox Scart and Foxtel(Pace). The Scart connector supplied by SlingBox has internal wires that break out into RCA, Left, Right and Video. When the RCA connectors are connected to the SlingBox the voltage drawn unbalances the signal through the
