Thanks for the information. Please let us know when there will be another event. Beolab 5 is at the top of my must have list!

Congrats Lee, I hope B&O will invite you to all future product launches. I would like to know more about the specifications especially the Beomaster 5. I like the idea of a Beosound 5 forum. B&O might find it an interesting read. If you can, please ask a few questions about the forthcoming digital link distribution plans. Thanks,

moxxey: Roger: The last sw update was distribued in November 2006 - and the automatic update feature was mentioned as a key selling point. I've been told that the Beosound 5 will be released unfinished with 'ongoing software updates', primarily as it will be connected to the Internet, so sw downloads can be automated. Don't get me wrong

Philippe, I agree. It's just a matter of time until we find out about the Beosound 5. My dealer suggested I would have to wait as long as 6 months to get a BS5. In the meantime, we will have some very long discussions about specs, value and is it really a true B&O product. Since I am convinced that I want a Beosound, my only problem is deciding

soundchoice70: So generally I would say the appreciation of great modernist design and therefore B&O would be perhaps somewhat limited. I do agree with most of your observations that many Americans have traditional tastes. However modernism is very much alive and well in the US. You will have to come back for another visit especially in Chicago

Dave: He has no access to contact details, etc etc, what are you guys talking about? I'm kind of frustrated by this! It's just a sequence of B&O related questions!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Sorry I not implying anything sinister here. Companies and individuals that do demographic research usually collaborate and piece together information from different

wtlc2zpx: Alex: This is spam , I got this on other forums too. Has nothing to do with BnO.. But spam is usually to sell something to you. What is he selling? They are generally gathering information about you to sell to marketing and research companies. Demographic information about an individual is very valuable to these companies.

Nobody is buying anything here just as in the EU. Circuit City which is a large electronics retailer announced today the closing of 135 stores nationwide. The only stores with crowds are the Apple stores. Used B&O on Ebay can be tricky because many of the sellers are not B&O owners. They are selling used B&O from what we call estate sales

It is just more spam and not very clever.

soundproof: Inexcusably awful music, can't listen to it. Strange, they must be able to pick and choose from the world's leading artists, and we get this homemade electronica. I thought it was annoying. However as a faithful B&O fan, I dutifully filled in my name and email address.
