Hi Greg, we had a BV6-26 when it came on the market. The viewing distance was nearly 3m. Picture and sound (with surround) were really great. Due to some rearangement of our living room the viewing distance changed to 5,5m so we needed to upgrade. But the look of the BV6 was better IMHO as it has not dominated the room that much. Yep, Peter is right! On the one I had some years ago, "AV9000 Audio Kit" and "1610" were both printed on.

Hello Turbo, the option setting is needed for both units (1610 and audio kit), the switch is only plesent at the AV9000 audio kit. You can download the setup guide from the main side (but only as silver or gold member). Marcus

Macht er doch auch, nur daß dieses optimierte Format nun mal das besagte tolle Feature hat :-( Ich hab' jetzt schon länger nicht mehr an meinem BV1 gesessen, aber der hat doch gar keine Formatumschaltung, oder?

Versuch mal eine andere Format-Einstellung. Bei dem Superbreit Format (oder wie immer das Ding heißt, bei dem das 4:3 Bild in den 16:9 Ausschnitt gepresst wird) ist der mittlere Bereich weniger gedehnt als der äußere, damit Personen in der Mitte des Bildes kein so starkes Mondgesicht bekommen. I had a similar setup with a BV7 and had both (TV and PC2) in option2. Worked well :-)
