Thanks Quim43. On my phone *#1234# says: E910XXFA2 and *#1111# says: F:REV 1.0C Are these old or new revisions? I will be visiting the B&O shop next week and I can ask them to update the phone if that is applicable.

camshaft: Ok, I couldn't resist http://www.strapya-world.com/categories/12_1147.html Is there any piece of software that runs on Serene? So far I have found nothing - even the Opera Mini browser which download page indentifies the phone as Samsung E-910 as it should be, the download won't start (Serene gives error message). Does anyone have

I bought the Form 1 replacement pad kit from LifeStyle AV. Perhaps a bit expensive but certainly was worth it. The old pads must be completely scratched off - I used my thumb nail. The kit has all the pads (two big ones and the two smaller ones) and they have a tape to attach them to the headphones. If the old rot is taken off well the new ones should

I hope I could avoid scratches as longs as possible! I am already familiar with the "wow" factor: everyone I have shown the phone... Also one can setup a greeting-text to be shown on the default screen, that's found somewhere from the screen settings....

I have just bought my Serene after a long consideration. I also went to test it on a local B&O shop first. The phone was bought from eBay as new, for only 500 eur. I have read that the Serene's is a phone that can't be personalized that much - the ringtones are the ones included and there is no way to make your own background for the default

I agree with you, francoisvl. As I just restored a Beocord 3500 and can't stop enjoying it's quality and sound (think - cassettes, that vintage). On the other hand I do appreciate the work you have done but personally I can't tolerate killing working B&O's. Just my opinion though!

tournedos and other finnish members (how many there are?): let's have even one finnish winner on the charts today! I am not sure if there has been any yet?

Here we go again! I wish you all luck - I can't be around during the draw.

Also make sure that the touch panel is firmly in place (glass attached to the plastic frame). The glass is hold there by double-sided tape and in most cases it's loose by now. I had this problem with my Beocord 3500 (same as the 4500 but the lid is in different colour). The old tape must be fully removed and replaced (search the forum in case you

Thanks for mentioning me, Peter! The BeoCord 5000 is truly an amazing deck, unfortunately so very complicated that they are horrible to work with if not working! One peek inside makes it sure that it's all-B&O - but when the deck works they are a delight to use (I have one that almost works, it plays but won't record - still I love it).
