  • Re: Bang&Olufsen & OLED technology

Some of us expect a very nice 2 way remote from B&O and are not even considering any other brand. :-). Just sayin ........

http://gizmodo.com/5070933/samsung-shows-off-giant-40+inch-oled-hdtv I do agree that B&O seems to be less precious and more practical. Think the HDMI connection for the internal blueray player in the BV7 MKiV. Why I consider this re-batching, I also believe that his is one way to go for them ...... JK

  • Re: BeoWorld and B&O..

I'd say go for it. As long as advertisers do not influence what and how we discuss that should not be an issue. I strongly believe restricting where adds are placed the way it is right now works against the site, there is so much potential untouched by the limited financing that it gets from premium memberships .....

  • Re: Beovision 7 Bare Bones....

If I recall correct the 6K price without disk drive is a special to clear MKIII inventory. In germany the price list shows a significant "bump" for the MKIV disk/speaker-less option. I think its an awesome deal even though I am not sure how it looks mounted on table, floor or wall mount.

  • Re: Eureka; aTV now controlling beoport - limited usage but just so its out there

The chip difference is significant. I am running a media center software on my ATV, it breaks for certain video streams over the internet. I still would consider the ATV as it is truly designed to run without mouse and keyboard, the Mini will ask for one every know and then. Cheers JK

Thomas Pink. I like that they have slim fits and that in general they are cut a bit longer ....

  • Re: BeoCenter 2 with Blueray

Could be. Very interesting post. But then again, they miss the boat a bit in my opinion. If you look at the latest media center software pieces, they automatically built your library. Meaning based on Movie title they pull in trailer and reviews and DVD Cover to allow a level of content navigation that Tvix just can't offer. Tvix is reduced to a

  • Re: Software des BM5 auf dem Beomedia 1 ??

Das wurde mal im General forum diskutiert. Der Beomedia 1 hat leider nicht genug Rechenpower und kann daher nicht upgegradet werden.

    >>Isn't there a video version of the BS5 coming out<< What would be the point? Unless they come up with their own version of Kaleidescape. There is to my knowledge not much legal DRM free content around. If Apple or Amazon would offer DRM free videos ....... then yes ....... but then again, by that time the Media center PCs will hit

  • Re: BeoCenter 2 with Blueray

Don't get me wrong, I am not saying it doesn't do well right now. But I would think a product launch like a BC3 would be 18 to 24 month out giving that up to recently the upgrade of the BC2 was rumored. Maybe longer. Not sure how many years they would need to re-coup their investment. JK
