prototek: ... Is this accurate? For some reason I always pictured them smaller. They are quite big. Their size is about the same as an open tabloit newspaper. I my self also thought they were smaller, which caused me problems when I picked the off after winning an auction. Think BIG.

I would go for dark grey. They match and will fit into allmost any decor, even the one you will have in 10 years.

Joe is right. Four pins is for speaker link, and is a predessor for power link. The two extra pins are for display data. Three pins is for master control link, with one extra pin is for data and one for power. The reason that speaker link has two extra pins compared to MCL, is that you have to deliver data to both speakers, whereas the MCL carries all

Just a thought, what about using the mini jack out (for head phones), and the a converter from jack to phono?

Not really that helpfull but anyway. The "P" sign is a "?" and it means that the Beogram cannot understand your command. It might be a dustproblem, but the 3300 is getting old, so it might also be wear and tear.

They are just bare wire. The connectors are of the screw type.

I would stay with the 4500. With seperates you can always change a faulty unit. Also I think the Beogram 4500 visually integrates much better with the rest of the 4500, as the BG9000 does with the BC9000.

I think the most use of it, is in connection with Light control. I primerely use it for turning on the lights when I get home after dark, or to switch everything (Sound + light) off, when I leave the house. I may not be of much use to those who does not have light controllers. However the all off cannot be replicated by the Beo4. Maybe the Beo5 can
