Hope my grand kids (one day!) will think of me like this instead of a raving old fool!! Excellent though! and just goes to show how diverse the B&O customer can be and that you do not have to be a footballer to own a bit of B&O!

Keith Saunders: I have never seen a Beolink 1000 with a DVD button and I always thought that all versions of Beolink 1000 had the "Light" button I think the MK1 has link which was used as light?

As far as I know there was never a dvd button on the 1000?

Everything is slowing down now so this is to be expected which is maybe why there will be less new product releases and a continuation of the current range for the foreseeable future? would that be a fair comment? The boom of recent has to stop somewhere for a correction to take place, what happened to the markets last week is a clear indication that

I have always been a fan of Kef speakers, these just look as if they are trying to hard... Just goes to show how far advanced B&O are in terms of speaker design as these look very 90s compared to the avantgarde 9s & 5s.

AV1 sounds promising! Certainly has been a long time coming! Wonder how it will look.. is it a homage to the 9500/9000? including some form of digital control??? i.e. BM1?

Keith Saunders: From a hardware viewpoint Beoport and PC2 are the same. The only issue is if you were unlucky enough to have a very early hardware version of the PC2 there was an issue in updating the firmware, however at that time B&O replaced such faulty units. Fundimentally the introduction of Beoport was marketing exercise to bring it in line
