The popping is common - mine does it too - make sure the volume is not too high wjen swutching sources and you will be fine. That is quite a length of wire. However I would use the B&O wire if you have it as the ambio speakers will probably not get used that much! Stereo sounds better in my view!

Not sure they are the right symptoms, but have you cleaned all the sensors?

Most sub-woofers have inputs and outputs - run the output from the 5000 to the sub-woofer and thence to the panels.

You can but I suggest you get the dealer to upgrade the firmware first. Once you have done that, you can, if you can find it, use the software to change whatever you want.

Andy has the 15" and I have a 17". I got mine about 3 years ago - they are stupidly expensive! They use a generic Samsung LCD screen but are very nice! The glass contrast screen really sets them off. The power brick is not that well made - mine needed to be repaired recently - dodgy capacitors!

The official answer to this is yes - you need to see your dealer. They have been told not to distribute the software.

Tim is using RL140s and is very impressed with them with a 5500. The 5500 is not the greatest amplifier so it is worth choosing speakers wisely. Get one that matches and it sounds very good but not too difficult a load.
