I originally had a ProLogic card installed that I updated to a DSS 5.1 (3 socket) version but then had issues with my rear speakers. So I replaced this module with a DSS 5.1 (5 socket) version from my RF Avant 32

Hi Keith, This version of the DSS card only has 1 Power Link socket for the Front and only 1 for the Rear. My other DSS in my RF Avant has 2 for the Front and another 2 for the Rear but not this version... :-( Any other ideas? Cheers

Hi all, Yet another weird and wonderful doesn't seem to work issue. Avant 32 Mark 3 with the Dolby DSS 5.1 module installed and upgraded Avant SW to 4.0, set the speaker types to Penta front and rear. This was an upgrade from the Dolby Pro-Logic module where all four speakers worked as they should. No Beolab 2, so using the "Front" connector

Hi, an easy way to test this is to manually move the Avant to a full position off to one side while off. When you turn it on using 'TV' it should swing back into the set position, if it doesn't then its probably not working. Cheers GUY

Hi Gerd, The paperwork says its for: 1414100 - 50Hz 1415100 - 100Hz (28") 1416500 - 32" It looks like I have a Brand New PiP module for a 50Hz Avant then... :-( Oh well - any takers? NEW in box unused! - RRP = £170 = ouch!

Having just put a DSS board in my Avant I'm keen to try thius with my DVD1 as well. Does anyone have a link to the type of cable I need, or a spec? I'm sure Sound Heavenly or Maplin might have something but I'm not sure what I'm looking for. Cheers
