Hi, I have an old mac mini G4 1.5ghz in my office that I have no longer any use for as we upgraded to newer imacs. So I was thinking of maybe setting it up as a little media center to play some movies and music. Is anyone using this type of mac mini as one and if so can anyone tell me if it is capable enough to do this ? Or would the wise decision be

I have over 300 cd's (last count was some time last year and I only bought 5 cd's since) About 50 vinyl records and no downloaded mp3's Though I did rip a couple of our favorite cd's to lossless for my wife's ipod.

I had the same questions when I designed a home theater for a client. The installation (non B&O) was done by a professional company and they advised against using wood on walls. In the end we compromised with big soft area rugs on the floor and using wood veneer strips (in this case walnut) glued straight onto the plasterboard walls. Looks really
