OK, the Beogram 4000 is finally operating properly. An amazing number of adjustments were necessary as this BG was not “loved” for many years, and the international post did a number on it that was simply beyond belief. (Shattered internal parts.) Of my remaining issues, the most important of which is the sound is not altogether that great

Ah yes, I see that now. However I speak no Dutch and my French is appalling. (Several trips to France proved that convincingly.) Now had there been a Spanish section I might have learned something. Maybe. Thanks a million for the efforts, and I look forward to the English version when you find one. Jeff

Peter, Thank you for keeping on top of finding a User's Guide for the Beogram 4000. I found your recent find interesting although I speak VERY little German. Now if someone would be so kind as to provide you with an English version we'd be in business. Thanks again for your efforts, which are most appreciated! Jeff

Peter, Have you had any luck in finding a User's Guide for the Beogram 4000? Jeff

Lupo, I had the exact same problem with my 4002 and all it needs is a little cleaning and lubrication. If you really know what you are doing, these turntables are not that difficult to work on, but if you don't, find a qualified shop. The 4000 series are wonderful turntables and deserve our respect. It is great service manual and I think many people might find it useful. If it is right there on your list and I am too stupid to see it, I apologize, but I really don't think the 4000 Service Manuel is listed

Peter, If you find a copy of the Beogram 4000 User's Manual to scan, I'd truly love to have a copy of the scan. Jeff

Thanks Peter, I already did that with "original" B&O plastic from a Beogram 8000 "parts" turntable. My copy is essentially the same as the original, but I thought the real deal might be better in the long run. Plus it never hurts to ask. Jeff

I am looking for a replacement white plastic bearing (Part #2905034) for my Beogram 4000. This bearing secures the spindle at the end where the drive motor is attached via a belt. Thanks! Jeff

I have made considerable progress with the Beogram 4000. Cleaning all the contacts within the control panel resulted in the solenoid working and the tone arm dropping on to the record. But the arm refused to track. A small adjustment (which took a couple of hours to get just right took care of the tracking issue.) Now the Beogram 4000 plays records
